Fukuoka and Osaka launch new specialty sweets shops

In Fukuoka, three confectionery venues have opened or relocated in 2026. The Ito King Cookie Factory opened in April in Minami‑ku, offering handcrafted strawberry‑flavoured cookies and four other varieties. Ni to Ni moved to its new Iimizu location in June, providing seasonal cakes, parfaits and a range of baked goods. OYATUYA U Yakuin reopened in May after demolition, selling a selection of pound cakes, cookies and glass‑cake desserts.

In Osaka, confectioner Nakajima Daishōdō opened the Hitotoe Linoas store in the city of Yao on 9 July 2026. The shop, located in the underground level of the LINOAS mall, stocks the Hitotoe gift line, the DANKE retail sweets brand and the regional Ame‑chan cookies, allowing shoppers to choose and purchase gift‑ready baked treats and individual items on site.
