Fukuoka hosts environmental initiatives and cleanup projects

Various environmental conservation activities are taking place in Fukuoka, Japan. The Automobile Recycling Promotion Center participated in the ‘Environmental Festival Fukuoka 2026’ held at the Fukuoka City Hall West Side Fureai Hiroba, where they engaged visitors with educational quizzes regarding vehicle recycling.

Additionally, the ‘TOYOTA SOCIAL FES!! 2026 Fukuoka Seaside Cleanup Project’ is scheduled for November 21, 2026, at Fukuhama Beach. Sponsored by Toyota Motor Corporation and organized by Nishinippon Shimbun, the event aims to address marine debris issues in Hakata Bay. The project seeks 100 participants to engage in beach cleaning, waste sorting quizzes, and team-based competitions to raise awareness about microplastics and ocean health.
