Fukuoka hosts Green Creators Contest for urban greenery ideas

The educational institution 21st Century Academy, with the support of Fukuoka City, has announced the ‘Green Creators Contest.’ The competition invites participants to share ideas and expressions regarding ‘greenery-rich urban development’ and a ‘greenery-rich future.’

Submissions are divided into three categories: 1. Video and Photo: Capturing nature and greenery (generative AI is prohibited for this category). 2. Art: Paintings, illustrations, or graphic works (generative AI is permitted). 3. Planning and Ideas: Business plans or proposals for urban development involving greenery (generative AI is permitted).

The contest is open to everyone regardless of age, nationality, or professional status. The application period runs from August 20, 2026, to October 5, 2026. Winners will be recognized during the ‘Meta Campus Summit Fukuoka’ scheduled for October 17–18, 2026.
