Fukuoka launches digital stamp rally events to boost local tourism
The village of Tōhō (East Peak Village) in Fukuoka Prefecture is running a “Road Station 3‑Station Digital Stamp Rally” from 26 June to 31 August 2026. Using the Tōhoppipay app, participants check in at three nearby roadside stations—Koishibaru, Ukiha and Haratsuru—without any registration. Completing all three checkpoints automatically enters them in a prize draw for local specialty boxes worth about ¥6,000 or ¥5,000 in digital village currency.
At the same time, Fukuoka City has opened a stamp‑rally celebration for the new film *Keroro Gunso: Resurrection…*. Running over the same period, the rally lets participants collect stamps at five city green‑space sites tied to the “10,000‑tree urban forest” project. Collecting three or more stamps qualifies the first 1,000 visitors for a non‑saleable original sticker. Both events aim to draw families and tourists to local attractions and support the region’s tourism and green‑city initiatives.
