Fukuoka Prefecture to host seminar for foreign company attraction

Fukuoka Prefecture will hold a seminar in Minato, Tokyo, on November 18, 2026, to promote the region's business potential to foreign companies. The event aims to highlight the prefecture's proximity to Asia, its abundant human resources, and various ongoing industrial projects.

Featured speakers include representatives from High Power Oy, a Finnish power electronics company planning to open its first Japanese base in Kitakyushu in February 2026, and CTC-SYSTEX Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Itochu Techno-Solutions and a major Taiwanese IT service provider scheduled to establish a presence in Fukuoka City in August 2026.
