Fukuoka to host Gundam SEED event celebrating new film

A special event titled “SEED Series Special Event 2026 in Fukuoka” will be held from November 27, 2026, to February 28, 2027, to commemorate the release of the film “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO” on January 15, 2027.

Located at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka, the event features a winter-themed light-up of the life-sized Nu Gundam statue. The illumination will incorporate themes from “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM” and include an object inspired by the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.

On November 27, voice actors Kenichi Suzumura (Shin Asuka) and Daisuke Ono (Leonard Barway) will participate in the lighting ceremony. The schedule also includes a special talk event on November 28, where new information regarding the film is expected to be revealed. Additionally, TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Fukuoka will host screenings of “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY” and “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 -STARGAZER-” accompanied by stage greetings from the actors.
