Fukuoka to host RAMEN TECH Global Summit 2026

The RAMEN TECH Global Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 7 and 8, 2026. The event aims to position Fukuoka as a central business crossing point for Asia, leveraging its proximity to major hubs like Seoul and Taipei.

Organized by Cohh Inc., the summit features startup pitching sessions, including participants from Singapore and Malaysia, alongside exhibitions and one-on-one matching events. A portion of the program will be open to the public for free.

To address mobility challenges caused by sessions being held across multiple venues in the Tenjin and Daimyo areas, Local Bridge is conducting a proof-of-concept (PoC) experiment. In collaboration with the shared-cycle service Charichari, the initiative will use a digital stamp rally via the ‘Rokato Travel’ app to encourage seamless movement between venues. The project aims to collect anonymous pedestrian flow data to analyze urban mobility and smart city MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) strategies.
