Fukushima Prefecture reports multiple bear sightings

Multiple bear sightings have been reported across various regions of Fukushima Prefecture.

In Fukushima City, a bear approximately 1 meter in length was observed crossing a city road in the Sakuramoto area around 12:30 AM on August 18. Additionally, a bear was reported crossing National Route 115 in the Arai area of Fukushima City on August 17.

In the Aizu region, a 1-meter-long bear was seen crossing National Route 49 in the Kaneda area of Kawato-machi, Aizuwakamatsu City, at approximately 2:55 AM on August 20. Further reports from August 19 indicated an animal believed to be a bear attempting to run onto a road in Date City.
