Fukuyama High secures first Koshien berth, defeats Hiroshima Commercial
On 28 July at Mazda Stadium, Fukuyama High School beat Hiroshima Commercial High School 4‑3 to win the 108th National High School Baseball Championship Hiroshima prefectural final. The victory gave the public‑school team its first ever qualification for the summer Koshien tournament, a first for any public school in Hiroshima prefecture.
