Fulci metal band announces Italian tour and short film premiere
The brutal death metal band Fulci, named after the renowned horror director Lucio Fulci, is conducting an Italian tour this autumn. The band's performances often integrate cinematic elements, including projections inspired by the director's work.
As part of their tour, Fulci will perform at the Orion in Ciampino on Friday, October 2, and at Officine Cantelmo in Lecce on Saturday, October 3. The Ciampino show will feature a full set accompanied by a trailer for their first short film, 'Risorsero Dalla Tomba e Fu… L’Apocalisse!', directed by Domenico Montixi.
Montixi's short film is a modern reinterpretation of Fulci's cinematic themes, specifically drawing inspiration from 'Paura nella città dei morti viventi'. The film, produced by Fulcicon Film, aims to blend visceral and atmospheric elements through high-level technical execution and a soundtrack composed by the band.
