Fulco Pratesi exhibition opens at Museo di Roma in Trastevere
The Museo di Roma in Trastevere is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Fulco Pratesi. Acquerelli Pionieri’, dedicated to the artistic work of Fulco Pratesi. Pratesi was a prominent architect, naturalist, illustrator, and the founder of WWF Italia.
The exhibition features a selection of watercolors, drawings, notebooks, and original materials that highlight Pratesi’s intimate connection with nature. The collection demonstrates how his artistic practice served as a tool for observation, knowledge, and environmental advocacy.
This initiative is part of the WWF’s ‘Rivoluzione Naturale’ project, celebrating the 60th anniversary of WWF Italia. The exhibition aims to honor Pratesi’s contribution to spreading a culture of environmental respect and responsibility in Italy. The event is promoted by Roma Capitale and curated by Olympia Pratesi with the collaboration of Isabella Pratesi.
