Fulda community initiatives focus on children's rights and food assistance

In Fulda, Germany, local organizations are hosting community-focused events centered on social awareness and aid. The Jugendbildungswerk organized a “journey through children's rights” featuring 15 different stations. The initiative, led by Heike Münker and supported by Dr. Marion Wagner, aimed to raise awareness about children's rights through interactive activities and information booths.

Simultaneously, the Tafel Fulda food bank continues its operations from its expanded 600-square-meter facility in the Aschenberg district. Supported by 137 volunteers, the non-profit organization provides food assistance to approximately 600 households weekly, focusing on food rescue and community support.
