Fulda Regional Court hears bizarre sexual coercion and extortion case

A 32-year-old man from Eichenzell is facing trial at the Fulda Regional Court for severe sexual abuse, coercion, and arson. The defendant is accused of orchestrating a long-term extortion scheme against his former best friend beginning in 2010.

According to the prosecution, the defendant used the pseudonym ‘Mr. X’ to contact the victim, claiming to represent an ominous circle of powerful men. He allegedly coerced the victim into a homoerotic relationship and the production of pornographic material by threatening to destroy the victim's and his family's reputation. To enforce these threats, the defendant reportedly hacked the victim's account, posed as a psychologist, and sent a photo of the victim's father's ID to demonstrate his reach. The resulting pornographic content was then used for further extortion.
