Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa faces pressure after loss to Ipswich Town

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa is facing increased scrutiny following a 1-2 comeback defeat against Ipswich Town. The loss extends Fulham’s winless streak in the Premier League to six matches, leaving the club at the bottom of the league standings.

Despite taking an early lead through a goal by Ryan Sessegnon, Fulham suffered a late collapse at Portman Road. Abdoul Ouattara equalized in the 88th minute, and Dara O'Shea scored the winning header during stoppage time. This pattern of conceding late goals has become a recurring issue for the team.

Addressing his future, Arbeloa stated that he does not fear losing his position, noting, “I never worry about my position. I don’t feel fear. You cannot be a coach if you feel it.” He emphasized that the club's league position is the primary concern and that the team urgently needs to secure points.
