Full Circle addresses viral ReSkate modding platform for Skate

Full Circle, the developer of the skateboarding game Skate, has issued a statement addressing the viral success of ReSkate, a fan-made modding platform. ReSkate has reached over 350,000 downloads on GitHub, allowing players to access the game offline, create private servers, and develop custom maps.

While the studio expressed support for player creativity and community expression, they established clear boundaries regarding unauthorized modifications. Full Circle stated they will take action against tools designed to bypass systems to unlock paid cosmetics, release gated or unreleased content, or profit from unauthorized assets. The developers noted that such actions negatively impact artists, skate brands, and the development team.

In response to the demand for more freedom, Full Circle announced they are currently developing official, secure access tools to enable deeper and broader community creation within the game.
