Funchal hosts youth festivals and community cultural events

Funchal is hosting several community and youth-oriented events. The 3rd edition of the Funchal Summer Fest will take place on August 29 at Parque de Santa Catarina. Organized by the Funchal Municipality, the free festival features a 130,000 euro investment and aims to promote youth talent, digital culture, and sports. The event includes two stages, a gaming area, and various activities such as circus performances and radical sports.

Additionally, the Garouta do Calhau Community Development Association is hosting a closing celebration for the ‘Férias Divertidas’ project at the Funchal Municipal Garden Auditorium. The event, themed ‘Madeira, Terra de Encantos’, marks the conclusion of two months of educational, cultural, and sporting activities for children and young people, featuring performances centered on Madeiran identity and traditions.
