Funchal to host IV Peace Walk as part of multi-city Portuguese initiative

The IV Peace Walk is scheduled to take place on September 20, involving at least nine Portuguese cities simultaneously, including Funchal, Lisbon, Porto, and Braga. The initiative is organized by a convergence of various groups and communities, such as the Comunidade Irmânia and the Santuário Dewachen, aiming to promote global peace through inner transformation and heightened consciousness.

In Funchal, the event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute meditation, followed by a silent walk from Quinta Magnólia through Estrada Monumental to Jardim da Ajuda. Participants are encouraged to wear white clothing as a symbol of peace. For those unable to attend in person, a collective online meditation will be hosted via Zoom.
