Funcom brings Dune: Awakening experience to Fortnite Creator Islands

Funcom has partnered with Meta4 Interactive’s Power Up team to bring elements of the open-world survival game ‘Dune: Awakening’ into Fortnite via select Creator Islands. This collaboration celebrates the recent console launch of the survival title.

Players can access Dune-themed mechanics on specific islands, such as ‘Crazy Red vs. Blue’ and ‘Troll Bedwars’. Featured gameplay elements include the ability to summon the sandworm Shai-Hulud using a Thumper, the use of the Jabal Spitdart Rifle, and elimination quests that allow players to unlock cosmetic items like the Atreides Scout Hood, Atreides Scout Helmet, and Gurney Halleck’s Baliset. These activities are scheduled to be available for a limited time.
