Funcom schedules Sept 22 release of Dune: Awakening for PS5 and Xbox Series

Game developer Funcom announced that the open‑world multiplayer survival title Dune: Awakening will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 22. The game, first released for PC via Steam on June 10, 2025, expands the Dune franchise with a persistent world, social hubs, and server‑wide politics.

The release was highlighted during the June State of Play event, which also showcased other upcoming titles such as Rayman Legends Retold and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Funcom confirmed that the console versions will arrive simultaneously across all platforms on the stated date.
