Fundació UEA renews partnership with Fundació la Caixa

The Fundació UEA and Fundació la Caixa, through CaixaBank, have renewed their collaboration for a third consecutive year. The agreement aims to support the “Oportunitats i oficis” project, which is part of the foundation's strategic focus on its Trades School (Escola d’Oficis).

The initiative seeks to address the gap between industrial labor needs in the Anoia region and individuals facing barriers to employment, such as long-term unemployment or lack of qualifications. The project will combine professional training, individualized support, company visits, and interviews with recruitment managers to facilitate labor market access.

During the foundation's annual event, themed “Change, attitude, future,” President Joan Mateu emphasized that economic and social development must progress together. The event also highlighted the success of the “Professions de Futur” program, which reached over 2,500 students this past year.
