Malvinas Argentinas orchestra receives instrument donation

The Municipal Orchestra of Malvinas Argentinas has received a donation of eleven new musical instruments from the Fundación Banco Provincia. The donation, which includes two cellos, two violas, four violins, and three acoustic guitars, is intended to strengthen the musical training programs offered at the Casa de Cultura y Arte (CCA).

Mayor Leo Nardini received Micaela Ferraro, president of the Fundación Banco Provincia, to mark the delivery. Nardini emphasized that the orchestra provides free musical education to local youth, serving as a tool to foster community and steer young people away from digital risks such as online gambling and social media hate. Ferraro noted that the new equipment aims to inspire more young people to engage with music.

Separately, Malvinas War veterans Silvia Barrera and Liliana Colino met with parliamentary authorities in Jujuy to express gratitude for recent cultural activities. These included the 4th National Meeting of Malvinas Women held at the Cabildo Histórico and their participation in the Éxodo Jujeño parade.
