Fundación Barceló Medicine program receives six-year accreditation extension

The National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU) has extended the accreditation of the Medicine program at the Fundación Barceló University Institute of Health Sciences, Santo Tomé campus, for a total of six years.

Following an analysis of the institution's first progress report, CONEAU determined that the established commitments were satisfactorily met. This extension aligns with the accreditation process for programs regulated by Article 43 of the Higher Education Law. The decision recognizes the institution's efforts in strengthening institutional capacities, consolidating training processes, and meeting national quality standards for medical education.
