Fundación Caja Badajoz announces fifth Negativo photography festival

Fundación Caja Badajoz has announced the fifth edition of the ‘Negativo’ photography festival. The event will feature more than 30 activities, including 17 exhibitions, 10 talks, two portfolio viewings, and three workshops.

While the festival is centered in Badajoz, it will also extend to other locations in Extremadura, such as Olivenza, Mérida, Zafra, Villafranca de los Barros, and Villanueva de la Serena. The program aims to showcase both international and national photographers, such as Gervasio Sánchez, alongside local and regional talent.

The first exhibition is scheduled to open on October 16, with subsequent shows opening in stages. A significant concentration of free activities is planned for the weekend of November 6, 7, and 8.
