Fundación Cajasol inaugurates exhibition on poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer

The Fundación Cajasol has inaugurated a new exhibition titled ‘Mientras haya unos ojos que reflejen’ to launch the first edition of ‘El Club de los Poetas Andaluces’. The exhibition offers an intimate look at the life and work of the Sevillian poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, moving beyond his status as a literary icon to explore his human experiences, including his struggles with illness, love, and his premature death.

Curated by Juan Sebastián Domínguez with advice from writer Eva Díaz Pérez, the exhibition is held at the Velázquez Room of the foundation's Seville headquarters and will remain open until October 22. The project aims to re-examine Bécquer’s profound influence on various disciplines more than 150 years after his passing.
