Fundación Castro-Limón secures over 2,600 chemotherapy treatments

The Fundación Castro-Limón has exceeded its fundraising goals through the "Baja California con Quimio 2026" campaign. The initiative successfully secured 2,667 chemotherapy treatments, surpassing the original target of 2,650 sessions.

The funds raised through community efforts, including raffles and food sales, will cover approximately three months of treatment for patients at the Pediatric Oncology Center of Baja California. The foundation currently provides follow-up for 103 patients in active treatment and has reported 133 cases of minors who have successfully overcome the disease. Julia Limón, a coordinator for the foundation, noted that the support provided is entirely free of charge.
