Fundación Gazpro and UNICEF launch parenting program in Ciudad Juárez

Fundación Gazpro and UNICEF Mexico have established a strategic alliance to implement the ‘Conscious Parenting’ program in vulnerable areas of Ciudad Juárez. The initiative aims to benefit approximately 30,000 children by providing parents, educators, and community workers with tools for respectful and non-violent upbringing.

The program focuses on training ‘trainers’—including primary school teachers, school administrators, and staff from community kitchens and shelters—to ensure that knowledge regarding the prevention and eradication of violence in child-rearing can be replicated across the community. By equipping those who work directly with families, the alliance seeks to create a support network capable of identifying and addressing domestic violence and promoting healthier environments for children to grow.
