Fundación Generación Empresarial launches free compliance masterclass

Fundación Generación Empresarial (FGE) has launched a free masterclass titled ‘Compliance e integridad en la relación con el Estado’ (Compliance and integrity in the relationship with the State) on the Etiqampus online training platform.

The program is designed to provide companies and organizations with practical tools to identify and manage integrity risks that arise during routine interactions with the government, such as bidding processes, permits, inspections, subsidies, and lobbying efforts. The training aims to prevent these common interactions from escalating into legal issues like bribery or other misconduct.

The masterclass is taught by lawyers Andrea Abascal and Rocío Vergara from the firm Bofill Mir Abogados. Francisca Martin, general manager of FGE, noted that integrity risks often stem from normalized daily practices rather than extraordinary situations, emphasizing the need for internal controls and a strong corporate culture to recognize these risks early.
