Fundación Gomaespuma promotes emotional education initiative

Journalists Guillermo Fesser and Juan Luis Cano, founders of the Fundación Gomaespuma, are promoting the Think Equal educational initiative. The program aims to provide children aged 3 to 6 with tools to identify and manage their emotions. Currently implemented in 245 Spanish educational centers, the program is set to expand into Andalusia for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The initiative responds to mental health concerns, noting that according to the World Health Organization, nearly one in seven people globally experiences a mental health disorder. In Spain, data from the General Council of Psychology indicates that 18.2% of the population sought professional help for psychological or emotional issues in the last year.
