Fundación Grupo Montalto launches MAX suit to simulate aging challenges

The Fundación Grupo Montalto held a training session at the Hogar El Atardecer care home in Tres Arroyos, presenting the MAX simulation suit. The wearable device recreates the physical limitations typical of aging, such as reduced mobility, loss of strength, diminished vision and hearing, and joint restrictions.

Participants, including staff and local caregivers, wore the suit to experience these constraints firsthand. The session was led by Lic. Araceli Marconi, director of Ágape and the research department of the foundation, who emphasized the need for empathy‑based care for older adults. The initiative aims to sensitize professionals, families and the broader community, promoting more humane and respectful practices in elder care.

The event is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to continuous training and improving quality of life for seniors in the region.
