Mary Street Jenkins Foundation donates land for Puebla Cablebús

The Mary Street Jenkins Foundation has donated 7,000 square meters of land in the Xonaca neighborhood to support the development of the Cablebús transportation system in Puebla. Roberto Jenkins, a member of the Foundation's Board, confirmed that legal hurdles delaying the contribution have been resolved, stating the donation is “already settled.”

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier noted that the cable system is part of a broader integral mobility model that integrates bike lanes, public bicycle systems, conventional transport, and the RUTA network. To ensure transparency, the state government launched a microsite containing planning documents, technical studies, and weekly updates on the project's progress. The system, which includes 94 towers, is scheduled to begin operations on October 10.
