The Fundación Jiménez Díaz recently hosted a specialized training program titled ‘Preceptorship in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Lymphomas’. The two-day event allowed hematologists from various medical centers to observe the hospital’s functional lymphoma unit, covering the entire patient journey from initial diagnosis to therapeutic decision-making.
Dr. Mª Ángeles Pérez, coordinator of the Lymphoma Unit, noted that the increasing availability of advanced treatments—such as targeted therapies, bispecific antibodies, CAR-T therapy, and clinical trials—has made clinical decisions more complex.
