Fundación Macarrulla announces 2026 youth baseball tournament

The Fundación Macarrulla has announced the 2026 edition of the Copa Macarrulla, a youth baseball tournament designed to promote sports development and character building in the Gran Santo Domingo area. The competition will feature eight sub-12 teams competing at the Ciudad Juan Bosch sports facilities.

Scheduled to begin on September 4, 2026, the tournament will span three consecutive weekends. Lisandro Macarrulla emphasized that the event aims to teach discipline, respect, and teamwork through baseball. For the first time, the tournament will include a female youth component, featuring two teams competing during the second weekend of the event.
