Fundación Mapfre launches sustainable mobility educational collection

Fundación Mapfre has released a new edition of its pedagogical collection, ‘A Escola e a Mobilidade Sustentável’ (The School and Sustainable Mobility), designed for teachers, school managers, and public education networks across Brazil. Part of the ‘Educação Viária é Vital’ (Road Education is Vital) program, the free material provides guidance on sustainable mobility, road safety, and the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in basic education.

The collection is organized into six volumes, covering various educational stages including Early Childhood Education, Elementary School (I and II), High School, and a new volume dedicated to Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The content is aligned with Brazil’s National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

By integrating these themes into the curriculum, the initiative aims to foster environmental responsibility and active citizenship. The program encourages students to analyze local circulation challenges and safety issues within their own communities and school surroundings.
