Fundación Milma A. C. is organizing fundraising events in the Centro Region of Mexico to support rescued dogs from the Frichem shelter. The shelter currently cares for 63 animals that were rescued following allegations of animal abuse.

The primary event, a Formula 1-themed race called “Dog Run 2026: Corremos por ellos,” is scheduled for October 4 at 7:30 a.m. in Frontera. The race offers 1.5 km and 3 km routes for participants and their dogs. Registration costs 300 pesos and includes a runner number, bandana, t-shirt, and entry into a gift raffle.

Additionally, a musical event titled “Musican Fest” will take place on Friday, October 2, at 9:00 p.m. with an entry fee of 150 pesos. Proceeds from both events will fund veterinary services, including consultations, vaccinations, sterilizations, medical tests, and medications for the rescued animals.
