Fundación Monseñor Felipe Bello to host medical mission in Jarabacoa

The Fundación Monseñor Felipe Bello will conduct its 18th mission of the ‘Donando Sonrisas’ program in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Scheduled for October 15, 16, and 17, the medical and dental operation will provide free services to children and families in communities with limited healthcare access.

Located at the Centro Educativo Arcadio Tiburcio, the mission will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and includes daily transportation for beneficiaries. The initiative involves an international team of volunteer dentists, hygienists, and medical personnel arriving via Santiago de los Caballeros.

Dental services will include evaluations, preventive treatments, root canals, restorative work, pain management, and major surgeries. Medical and ophthalmological services will also be provided, including blood pressure checks, diabetes testing, and vision evaluations. Additionally, the foundation will distribute donations collected from the Dominican diaspora in Miami and New York.
