Fundación Te Apoyamos donates rehabilitation equipment to Freirina health center

The Fundación Te Apoyamos, established by Andrónico Luksic, has donated technological and sensory stimulation equipment to the CESFAM Practicante Óscar Ruiz Toro in Freirina, Chile. The donation aims to strengthen physical rehabilitation access for children, adolescents, and adults in the area.

The provided equipment includes imported stationary bicycles and treadmills, electrostimulation and physiotherapy machines, compression boots, weights, kinesiology bands, and sensory materials such as climbing walls, ball pits, and ramps. These tools are intended to assist patients with neuromuscular, osteomuscular, and chronic conditions in improving their autonomy and quality of life.

Previously, a lack of specialized equipment required some patients to be transferred to health centers in Vallenar and Copiapó. This upgrade is significant for the community, as over 17% of Freirina's population required treatments related to stimulation, adapted physical activity, or prevention of inactivity in the last year.
