Fundación Teletón announces 2026 fundraising goal and new center plans

Fundación Teletón has announced its 2026 event, scheduled for October 10, with a fundraising goal of 426,978,716 pesos plus one peso. The campaign, themed “Por eso te quiero, Teletón,” aims to support children and adolescents with disabilities, autism, and cancer.

Fernando Landeros, president of Fundación Teletón, highlighted several milestones, including the fact that the foundation is approaching its 1,000,000th patient. Additionally, the CRIT Colima is set to open on October 6, marking the 29th Teletón center in the country. If fundraising goals are met, plans include the construction of a new CRIT center in Minatitlán, Veracruz, to support southern Mexico.

The national broadcast will originate from Estudios Quarry and Televisa San Ángel, featuring musical performances by artists such as Lucero, Yuri, Luis Fonsi, and La Banda El Recodo.
