Fundación Telmex Telcel announces 5,000 scholarships for Mexican students

Fundación Telmex Telcel and the Instituto Carlos Slim de la Salud are offering up to 5,000 scholarships for Mexican students pursuing undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees. To qualify, applicants must maintain a minimum grade point average of 8.5 and be enrolled in the first through the penultimate period of their studies at public or private institutions.

The scholarship package includes a monthly economic stipend, computer equipment (laptop or tablet), free Infinitum internet access at the student's home, and access to various training workshops and conferences. Recipients are also required to participate in the ASUME program during their first year, which focuses on human development and personal responsibility.

The deadline for online applications is Tuesday, September 22, 2026, while physical files must be submitted no later than Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
