Fundacite implements scientific training for Venezuelan agricultural sectors

The Foundation for Science and Technology Development (Fundacite) is implementing various technical and scientific training initiatives across Venezuela to support local production and community empowerment.

In Anzoátegui and Carabobo, Fundacite is working with the coffee and livestock sectors. In Anzoátegui, an inter-institutional plan was established to train farming families in agronomic practices, quality control, and brand protection. In Carabobo, meetings with livestock producers focused on the Law for the Promotion, Development, and Protection of Livestock Activity to ensure sector sustainability.

Additionally, in Apure, Fundacite conducted training sessions in the Los Betheles Commune of Biruaca. This initiative aims to train communal promoters in scientific tools and the strategic pillars of the ‘Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán’ Science, Technology, and Innovation Mission, ensuring that technological advancements address specific community needs.
