Fundação Carlos Chagas launches public exams for Santa Catarina tax agency and Manaus municipal prosecutor
The private, non‑profit Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC) is the organizing body for two upcoming Brazilian public examinations. For the State Finance Department of Santa Catarina (Sefaz SC), FCC will prepare the written tests for a competition offering 50 vacancies. The exam will follow FCC’s typical style, emphasizing applied legislation, doctrinal concepts and practical case analysis, with increasingly complex questions and extensive Portuguese language items.
In Manaus, FCC is also conducting the selection process for the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office. Six immediate positions – five open‑competition slots and one reserved for persons with disabilities – are advertised, with a total initial remuneration of roughly R$ 29,000. Registrations close on 4 August via FCC’s online portal, and the objective multiple‑choice test is scheduled for 20 September 2026, followed by discursive, oral and title‑evaluation stages.
Both competitions require candidates to hold a law degree recognized by the Ministry of Education and to be members of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
