Fundação Dom Cabral celebrates 50 years and broadens leadership education to public and community sectors

Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) marked its 50th anniversary in August, launching a new agenda focused on training leaders who can navigate climate change, technological transformation, geopolitical tensions, inequality, demographic shifts and new work dynamics. The school, ranked among the top ten global executive‑education providers by the Financial Times for 2026 and a leader in Latin America, said the future requires leaders able to mobilize businesses, governments and civil society.

Executive president Antonio Batista da Silva Junior explained that FDC is expanding beyond traditional business programmes to include public‑sector managers, popular entrepreneurs, social organisations and political candidates. It has created a public‑management centre, opened programmes for community leaders and announced an open training track for election candidates, rebranding itself as a “Business Government Community School.” The institution now operates in 22 Brazilian states, the Federal District and has growing international partnerships.
