Receita Federal advances planning for new public competition

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) is advancing the planning stages for a new public competition. The agency is currently in a market prospection phase, with the deadline for interested institutions to submit technical and budgetary proposals ending on September 11.

The authorized selection includes 146 higher-education positions: 116 for Tax Analyst and 30 for Tax Auditor. Initial salaries are reported at approximately R$ 13,927.99 for Analysts and R$ 24,113.71 for Auditors, including food allowances.

According to the agency's FAQ, the selection process will consist of two stages: an initial phase featuring objective and discursive exams, followed by a mandatory Professional Training Course to be held in person in São Paulo. The exams will be administered in all state capitals and the Federal District. While the official notice (edital) is expected by December, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services has set a regulatory limit of January 3, 2027, for its publication.
