Fundar develops Alba, Santa Fe's first energy-labeled building
The construction company Fundar is developing Alba, a 10-story residential building in the northern zone of Rosario, Argentina. This project marks the first in the province of Santa Fe to feature energy pre-labeling for its units.
Under the voluntary energy efficiency labeling system—which uses a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) based on Provincial Law 13.903—the units in the Alba building have achieved B and C classifications. According to Evelina Riva, commercial manager at Fundar, the building's design aims to reduce energy consumption for both electricity and gas by 70% compared to average units.
This efficiency extends to common areas, which is expected to lower maintenance fees for residents. The project focuses on sustainability and improved quality of life through optimized design and resource protection.
