Fundemos residents report severe public service crisis in Maturín

Residents of the Fundemos sector in the Alto de Los Godos parish of Maturín are reporting a severe crisis regarding public services. The community faces a lack of consistent water access, noting that water provided by tankers only lasts for three days.

In addition to water shortages, residents highlighted the deterioration of local infrastructure, including streets filled with potholes and cracks that hinder vehicle movement. The lack of public lighting has also been cited as a safety concern, leaving the area in darkness and increasing vulnerability to crime. Furthermore, issues with waste collection and overgrown vegetation in vacant lots have been reported, prompting calls for government intervention.
