In western New South Wales, Australia, Western Women's Legal Support reports an eight-week wait for legal appointments, placing women at increased risk. The organization provides essential legal, financial, and practical aid to those escaping abuse, but demand has outstripped availability. Despite the critical need for urgent advice regarding violence orders and housing, the service was unsuccessful in securing additional funding through the National Access to Justice Partnership.
