Fundraiser launched for 8-month-old boy battling neuroblastoma

An 8-month-old boy from the Głogów area near Toruń is fighting for his life against neuroblastoma, an aggressive malignant tumor of the nervous system. The diagnosis follows the discovery of a lump on his neck that grew rapidly and compressed his airways.

The infant is currently receiving treatment at an oncology clinic in Poznań. After undergoing a life-saving tracheotomy, he has been subjected to intensive chemotherapy, which has resulted in severe systemic complications. His parents report that the child has been hospitalized for over two months and is facing significant physical challenges.

A fundraiser has been established on the Pomagam.pl platform to cover medical costs and the extensive neurological and physical rehabilitation required for his recovery, as much of the treatment is not covered by the public healthcare system.
