Fundraising campaign reaches goal for medical treatment in Mexico
A solidarity campaign has successfully raised the 37,000 USD required for Francisco, a 12-year-old from Venado Tuerto, Argentina, to access specialized medical treatment in Mexico.
Francisco suffers from cerebral palsy and refractory epilepsy. The funds will cover his travel and a one-month treatment using the Cytotron, a non-invasive radiofrequency device located at the NeuroCytonix center in Monterrey. This therapy aims to restore neuronal cells and reduce seizures, a procedure not currently available in Argentina.
The fundraising effort, supported by the community and the NGO Imagina, reached its goal to ensure the necessary payments are made ahead of his scheduled medical appointment.
