Alessio Colletti funeral draws Saronno community
Alessio Colletti, a 15‑year‑old from Saronno, died after being struck by electricity on a Luna Park attraction in Spotorno on 16 July 2024. He was taken to San Paolo Hospital in Savona, where he succumbed the following day. The Savona prosecutor opened an investigation and ordered an autopsy.
A funeral service was held on 27 July 2024 at 15:30 in the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo in Saronno. The ceremony was co‑celebrated by Monsignor Marinoni and five priests and was attended by mayor Ilaria Pagani, other local officials, friends, teammates from Amor Sportiva Saronno and many community members who gathered to mourn the loss.
