Funguys Swarm announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Stairway Games has announced that Funguys Swarm, a survivor-style roguelite bullet hell game, is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 25, 2026.

In the game, players control various mushroom-themed heroes to defend a forest against the Fire King’s army. The gameplay involves leveling up, unlocking skills, pets, and mechas, while utilizing a Forest Sanctuary for permanent upgrades. The title is expected to feature a digital price point of $9.99.

Technical targets for the release include 1440p resolution at 60 frames per second in docked mode, and 1080p at 40 FPS in handheld mode.
