Brazil cultural events: music, festivals, and holiday celebrations

Brazil is hosting a diverse array of cultural events across several regions, ranging from musical performances to seasonal festivities.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica and MPB4 are performing the “MPB4 Sinfônico” project at Teatro Riachuelo, featuring arrangements of classics by Chico Buarque and Tom Jobim. Other notable musical acts in the city include Djavan tributes, Elba Ramalho, and Fagner.

São Paulo features various entertainment highlights, including the “Funk na Praça” event in the extreme south with MC Lon and MC Menor MR, and the “Feijuca do Turma” with Turma do Pagode at Varanda Estaiada. The city's nightlife includes jazz and pop performances at Blue Note SP and JazzB. Additionally, the Jockey Club will host the third edition of “Villa de Natal São Paulo” from late November through December.

In the state of São Paulo, the historic village of Paranapiacaba will host the third edition of “Halloween Novem’Beer 2026,” featuring rock music, themed gastronomy, and a “Casa do Terror.” Meanwhile, the ABC Paulista region is beginning its holiday season with early Christmas celebrations at Shopping Praça da Moça.
